How did your career start?
"It was actually quite different from where I am now! I started in the music industry after studying Music Management. I was managing artists and organising concerts, helping them shape their personal brands on social media. That process of building a narrative online is what really sparked my interest in the wider world of marketing."
What was the turning point that brought you to marketing?
"I stumbled across the book This is Marketing by Seth Godin. It completely changed my perspective. I realised I wanted to pursue marketing fully, so I went back to get my Master’s in Marketing Management. Before joining Bandai Namco, I spent years managing events and operations at Wembley and Arsenal stadiums, looking after high-profile clients. It taught me a lot about the customer experience."
What is your favourite part about working at Bandai Namco?
"The IPs! I grew up playing Tekken and NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm, so being part of the company behind them is special. But beyond the nostalgia, I love the challenge of our current mission. We are using data and social media not just to 'broadcast,' but to get closer to our customers. We want to show how diverse and exciting our physical shops are and ensure our online presence feels just as vibrant as stepping into one of our locations."
